Rural Net Zero Support
Test Valley Borough Council is committed to supporting business and to play its part in tackling the Climate Emergency. We need to support our businesses to meet the Net Zero challenge and to help them transition to a low carbon world. We need to do this to ensure businesses are resilient to change, be that the direct consequences of climate change or through future regulation. We need businesses to be able to meet future consumer needs and we need to provide the environment for them to learn from each other and to innovate.
We have partnered with IncuHive to deliver the Test Valley Rural Net Zero Business Service. This has been funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund[1]. The service comprises:
- A Test Valley Rural Net Zero Business Advice Service. This aim of this Service it to assist businesses on their Net Zero journey. Businesses may all be at different stages of their Net Zero journey and so the support and advice will be specific to each business.
- A small capital grants programme to support businesses making those steps.
- A pilot demonstrator / support programme focussing on land management and regenerative farming. More information on the demonstrator programme can be found Here
For more information on the service please see Net Zero Business Support (incuhive.co.uk) or contact George Scott-Welsh at netzero@incuhive.co.uk.
