Investing in Test Valley - the Corporate Plan 2015-19

We are currently in the process of developing the next Corporate Plan (2019-23).  We carried out a public consultation from 18 June, throughout the summer, closing on 18 September. Following the close of the consultation, we are now reviewing the answers and comments to build on our understanding of the needs and priorities of communities across the Borough.

The new Corporate Plan will be published in 2019 with headline results being presented back to the public in the coming months.

The Council's Corporate Plan 2015 - 2019, 'Investing in Test Valley', sets out four strategic aims for maintaining and improving quality of life in Test Valley over the next four years and beyond.

The Corporate Plan outlines the Council's vision and priorities for the Borough for the next four years. It will set our direction and provide a focus for our activities and services. As a result, it will inform decision making and allocation of resources across the Council.

The plan has been developed using a robust evidence base which takes into account the views of local people, statistical information and external influences, such as government policy.

Action plan updates are produced annually and contain key actions for delivery of the Corporate Plan's objectives in the coming year.

You can download the Council's Corporate Plan 2015 - 2019 and the action plan for year four on this page. A report on the first year of the action plan will be published in due course.

This short video “Investing in Test Valley” was made by a member of our staff. It is about how our communities benefit in real terms from what we do as a Council. It reflects our Corporate Plan "Investing in Test Valley 2015-19 and beyond."

The video was submitted as part of our entry for the national MJ Awards “Local Council of the Year” where we were one of six finalists.

See for yourself where we have invested in Test Valley as a great place to live; to work and do business; enjoy the natural and built environment and where you can contribute to – and be part of – a strong community.
