Andover Guildhall Venue Hire
Andover's Guildhall, built in 1825, has splendid Georgian architecture on the exterior and an equally impressive interior. This venue is ideally situated in the centre of Andover, adjacent are shops and a regular market.
The Upper Hall (maximum capacity 55 people)
The Upper Hall is an ideal Venue for conferences comfortably seating 55 people with various furniture layouts. A lift provides easy access. The hall is fully carpeted and features a beautiful ceiling, it also has a fully equipped kitchen.
The Upper Hall has a hearing loop system and microphone system including Lapel Mic's. A range of equipment and learning aids can be hired - please enquire for further details.
Please note that the building has a single point of access/escape and the hall is located on the 1st floor. Therefore to comply with Fire Safety Regulations a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) must be provided by hirer for each disabled person*.
A booking can not proceed until receipt of a satisfactory PEEP has been confirmed by Test Valley Borough Council.
*For the purpose of the regulation a disabled person is defined as someone who is unable to evacuate the building without assistance
