Grant for web design business
Test Valley Borough Council has awarded another local entrepreneur with a £750 Business Incentive Grant.
After a career in IT spanning more than 30 years, Catherine Strange made the decision to further her skillset by attending an adult education web design course at Oxford University. Equipped with new ideas, supported by extensive research, CAS Designs offers clients a virtual assistance, business support and web design service to give support to small businesses, tailored to their needs.
Catherine said: “I’ve worked in IT for many years now and have transferred the skills into small business world. I feel there is a gap in the market for assisting small businesses to excel by taking care of their administration tasks they never have the time for, and this is where I can help. The grant from Test Valley Borough Council is a great financial help to me, especially during these early stages of the business.”
The Council’s Business Incentive Grants are available to anyone looking to set up their own business in Test Valley. Anyone who successfully applies for the grant will receive a grant of £750 if their business is still going strong six months later.
