High-end fashion consultant makes a break in London

A local entrepreneur has turned her passion for fashion into a high-end personal styling London consultancy.

Miranda Holder, who lives in Appleshaw, organises fashion shoots for her clients, offers personal styling advice and oversees photography and production of projects. Her work is becoming well established in London following intensive training, and her portfolio already includes International Excellence magazine.

On behalf of Test Valley Borough Council, Penton Bellinger ward member, Councillor Phil Lashbrook, presented Miranda with a £750 Business Incentive Grant at her home in the village. He said: “Miranda is incredibly talented and has a skill that many of us would love to have! I am delighted to present her with this grant and I wish her all the best in the future.”

Miranda added: “Launching the business was a daunting decision but one that I’m so glad I did. I really feel that I’ve got the best of both worlds – working in London and having access to some of the top fashion brands – and living in the beautiful Test Valley where I can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I love what I do and am very grateful to the Council for this grant.”

The Council’s Business Incentive Grants are available to anyone looking to set up their own business in Test Valley. Anyone who successfully applies for the grant will receive a grant of £750 if their business is still going strong six months later.
