Blooming good news for day nursery

Test Valley Borough Council has presented a new Andover business with £750, as part of a Business Incentive Grant scheme.

Stephanie Pledge, owner of Blooming Kids Day Nursery recently received the grant.

Blooming Kids Day Nursery is an Ofsted registered children’s nursery, offering spaces for children under five in term time and under eight in the school holidays. Stephanie offers flexible start and finish times, reflecting the needs of military personnel, or those who work shifts.

With a degree and more than 15 years experience in childcare, Stephanie offers a people-based approach, encouraging children to learn through their imagination and curiosity.

Winton ward member Councillor Jan Budzynski said: “It is clear that Stephanie has worked very hard to launch her new business, using her experience and further research into new practices to bring an individualised approach to children’s’ learning. I hope the business continues to do well and wish her all the best”

Stephanie said: “I am passionate about achieving a fun and encouraging environment for children to learn in Andover. I am thrilled that the Council has offered its support with the launch of Blooming Kids Day Nursery.”

The Council’s Business Incentive Grants are available to anyone looking to set up their own business in Test Valley.

Anyone who successfully applies for the grant will receive £750 if their business is still going strong six months later.
