Frankie - Administration Assistant

Frankie joined Test Valley Borough Council in 2010 on a six month contract, and hasn’t left yet!

With the support of a national initiative to create new jobs, Frankie secured a temporary contract in the Council’s Estates and Economic Development Service. His role as an administrator gave him the opportunity to put himself forward for tasks that arose on a day to day basis, which would help him to learn the ropes and become as indispensable as possible. In his early career, he could be found doing all sorts of tasks from filing paperwork to administering risk assessments.

Over the years, Frankie has built up a wealth of experience which has enabled him to join the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as well as the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM). Both organisations are proving incredibly beneficial to his future prospects by providing access to all kinds of networking opportunities and industry-related news and events.

“The best thing about working at Test Valley Borough Council is the team spirit. Everyone has a very friendly and approachable attitude.”
