Lee joined the Environmental Service in 2013 as a Street Cleaning Operative.  In 2014, Lee then joined our Clean Team – a specialist team deployed to clean up those neglected areas whilst also providing support to community events.  In 2017, Lee became a Recycling Development Officer. Working in the waste and recycling team, Lee visits schools and local groups to provide recycling education. He also works alongside the waste collection teams, helping our residents to recycle more and contaminate less.  Lee says “I have been given so many opportunities working within the Environmental Service. I have received a lot of training and development and it has led to me working in my current role which I really enjoy. It really is a great place to work.”
