Application process

The application can be made using the form attached to this link, Test & Trace Application Form (you will be required to register first).

Anyone experiencing difficulties accessing the application system must contact the Benefits Team (Benefits@testvalley.gov.uk) as soon as possible with their contact details.

Applicants will need to complete the online form and provide the following details, it will be possible to upload this information 

  • A notification from NHS Test and Trace asking them to self-isolate;

  • Proof of receipt of one of the qualifying benefits;

  • A bank statement; and 

  • Proof of employment or, if they are self-employed, evidence of self-assessment returns, trading income and proof that their business delivers services which cannot be undertaken without social contact. 

As applicants may not have access to scanning equipment while they self-isolate, TVBC will accept photographs of documents.

Once this evidence has been verified, we will pay the applicant £500. We aim to make this payment within three working days of receiving an eligible application.
