Creepy crafts and spine-tingling tales

Looking for family-friendly activities to do this half-term? Bring your mini zombies, werewolves and witches and enjoy a free Halloween event at the Chantry Centre, on Saturday 26 October.

Visit the inside garden area near Boswells cafe between 10am and 2pm to take part in spooky activities, including face painting by Ruby Slippers Show School, and creating colourful paper pumpkins hosted by Out of the Box Crafts. Merry-go-round Storytelling will also be there to entertain children with haunting Halloween tales.

Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Councillor Phil North, said:  “Since purchasing the Chantry Centre, we are really pleased that we have been able to continue hosting events for families to enjoy. This will be a great opportunity in the lead up to Halloween, to don fancy dress, get creative and be entertained with some excellent storytelling!”
