How did the review work?
We carried out two phases of consultations on parish arrangements in Test Valley. The first phase of consultation asked for proposals on changes to existing parish arrangements. We have used all responses received during this period of consultation to draw up draft recommendations for changes to parish arrangements in Test Valley. A second phase of consultation on these draft recommendations was then held, during which time the public were able to comment on them and propose alternatives.
The first period of consultation took place from 13 November 2017 and ran for 11 weeks.
A second round of consultation was then undertaken between 4 May and 6 July 2018.
A report on the representations received as part of the second consultation stage was considered by full Council at its meeting on 5 September 2018. All of the Final Recommendations, as set out in the report, were agreed and adopted.
