Andover Jobs Fair
The next Andover Jobs Fair will be held on Wednesday 17 June 2026 from 9:30-12:30, at The Lights theatre in Andover. It is being organised jointly by Test Valley Borough Council, The Lights, Andover Jobcentre Plus, Andover College and the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
The Jobs Fair aims to bring together local employers with jobs vacancies with local adults of all ages who may be interested in entering the workplace, returning to work after a break, changing career, or seeking a new challenge. It provides the opportunity for people to meet face-to-face to discuss opportunities. There is no charge for employers to attend, and the event is widely advertised to reach as many local jobseekers as possible. Andover Jobcentre Plus also book their clients in.
We held summer Jobs Fairs in Andover in 2024 and 2025 and are delighted that many of Andover’s major employers have attended. We know that employment offers have resulted directly from these events.
As well as employers, jobseekers will have the opportunity to speak to employment support providers about help with getting into work. Seetec will be there to talk about the Hampshire Connect to Work programme and The Shaw Trust will be able to talk about the employment support that they can offer to those with long term mental health conditions. Unity and Valley Leisure can discuss volunteering which can be a first step back into paid employment. Those interested in vocational training will be able to explore opportunities through Andover College and Hampshire skills bootcamps.
Careers advisers will be offering short in-person 1-1 sessions with jobseekers who want to talk things through. This has been really popular in previous years. We are very grateful to the National Careers Service, Andover College, Waythrough and Values & Talent who have all volunteered to help with this. Jobseekers do not need to book in advance. Finally, Andover College will help people set up LinkedIn profiles on the spot.
