Public Art Commission - Picket 20 Extension
Test Valley Borough Council has commissioned a heritage interpretation scheme for the new development of The Paddocks at Picket Twenty Extension development in Andover. This will be funded by Section 106 contributions.
A public art and education programme will find creative and engaging ways to bring to life the important heritage of the Picket 20 site, including the presence of buried archaeological remains, relating to a probable prehistoric barrow cemetery at the centre of the site.
Bespoke, site specific and creative artworks will interpret and bring to life the unique heritage of the area. A learning and education pack will also be created to help people to engage with the heritage and artworks.
