Fishing at Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve
Located just north of Andover town centre, Anton Lakes Local Nature Reserve, has a naturally stocked fishing lake in a peaceful setting.
Anton Lake is a river fed 3.8 hectare (9.3 acre) lake offering six generously spaced swims, a number of which are DDA compliant, positioned close to the car park, and with level gravel paths giving easy access. You’ll find a downloadable map showing the locations of the swims on the right of this page.
Species caught here include:
- tench
- common carp
- roach
- rudd
- perch
- bream
- pike
Paying to fish at Anton Lake
To fish at Anton Lake, you’ll need you’ll need a national fishing rod licence (unless you’re under 13) and to purchase a day or season ticket.
Tickets are not available on the bank.
