Charges for Pest Control Visits to Domestic (Non-Commercial) Premises

Summary Of What We Offer

Rats and Mice

Treatment: £98.20 (incl. VAT) for up to 4 visits

This service will be provided free of charge to people exempt from Council Tax or in receipt of Council Tax support. 

Advice visit: £40.80 (incl. VAT)      

This charge is for a course of treatment of up to 4 visits within a period of up to 35 days.

Additional treatment, if required, will incur a further charge. 

A single visit to give advice.

Wasps / hornets nests

Treatment: £69.00 (incl. VAT)  

Extra nest: £32.70 (incl. VAT) for each additional nest treated on the same premises during the same visit

A visit will be made to treat the nest using an insecticide. 

No charge will be made for a single retreatment if the need for a retreatment is identified within 2 weeks of the initial treatment.

Bedbugs

Treatment for homes with up to 3 bedrooms: £143.75 (incl. VAT)

*Discounted rate: £35.94

Treatment for homes with 4 bedrooms: £156.40 (incl. VAT)

*Discounted rate: £39.10

Treatment for homes with 5 bedrooms: £170.20 (incl. VAT)

*Discounted rate: £42.55

Treatment for homes with more than 5 bedrooms: £170.20 + £13.80 (incl. VAT) for each additional bedroom above five

*Discounted rate: £42.55 + £3.45 per additional bedroom

*A 75% discount to the above charges will apply to households exempt from Council Tax or in receipt of Council Tax support

These charges are for a treatment visit using an insecticide.

No charge will be made for a single retreatment if the need for a retreatment is identified within 2 weeks of the initial treatment.

Fleas

Treatment for homes with up to 3 bedrooms: £82.00 (incl. VAT)

Treatment for homes with 4 bedrooms: £94.90 (incl. VAT)

Treatment for homes with 5 bedrooms: £107.10 (incl. VAT)

Treatment for homes with more than 5 bedrooms: £107.10 + £12.00 (incl. VAT) for each additional bedroom

A single visit will be made to treat any infestation of fleas using an insecticide. 

No charge will be made for a single retreatment if the need for a retreatment is identified within 2 weeks of the initial treatment.

Other Insects, incl. Carpet Moths and Carpet Beetles

£82.00 (incl. VAT) minimum charge up to one hour

Additional £7.50 per unit of 15-mins, or part of, if the time spent on site exceeds one hour

A single visit of up to one hour of treatment on the premises.

Rats and Mice

Advice visit: £68.00 plus VAT

(i.e. £81.60 incl. VAT) if paid in advance

Treatment: £211.00 plus  VAT (i.e. £253.20 incl. VAT) for 3  visits and up to 5 bait points

Extra check / treatment visit if required:  £68.00 plus VAT (i.e. £81.60 incl. VAT)

Extra check / treatment visit if required:  £64.00 plus VAT (i.e. £76.80 incl. VAT)

The advice visit is based upon up to 45 minutes on site.  If not paid in advance but by invoice instead then an invoice fee of £12 excl. VAT (i.e. £14.40 incl. VAT) is payable on completion of the visit. 

A treatment for rodents of up to 3 visits of up to an hour and 5 bait stations (sufficient for most small and medium sized premises).  Payment may be made by invoice, for which no additional charge is payable.

Additional bait points in excess of 5 (likely applicable to large sites only) are payable at £6.00 plus VAT per bait point per visit. 

If required, additional check / treatment visits (up to 45 minutes on site) are payable at £68.00 plus VAT per visit.  Visits requiring additional time beyond 45 mins are payable at £14.00 plus VAT per 15-minute unit, or part of. 

In all cases, a summary report will be provided upon completion of each visit.

A single visit will be made to treat the nest using an approved insecticide.

A summary report will be provided upon completion of the treatment.

Bed bugs

Initial survey / treatment visit (one officer up to 1 hour on site): £111.00 plus VAT (i.e. £133.20 incl. VAT)

Extra treatment visits as required (one officer up to 1 hour on site): £87.00 plus VAT per visit (i.e. £104.40 incl. VAT)

An initial survey visit will be undertaken to check for the presence, give advice and commence treatment (if time permits). 

Additional time on site beyond 1 hour will be chargeable at £14.00 plus VAT per 15-minute unit, or part of, per pest control officer treating. 

Bed bug treatments typically require at least two treatment visits, often more.  The success of treatment cannot be guaranteed. Two pest control officers are often required where the movement of heavy furniture / furnishings is necessary. 

An invoice charge of £12.00 plus VAT (i.e. £14.40 incl. VAT) is payable on completion of the series of survey / treatment visits.

A summary report will be provided following completion of each visit.

Fleas and other insects

Treatment: £111.00 plus VAT

(i.e. £133.20 incl. VAT) if paid in advance

Advice visit: £68.00 plus VAT

(i.e. £81.60 incl. VAT) if paid in advance

This treatment charge is based upon a visit of up to one hour.  For treatments that cannot be conducted in less than one hour, there will be an additional charge of £14.00 plus VAT per 15-minute unit, or part of, per pest control officer treating. 

This is based upon a maximum of 45 minutes on site.

If not paid in advance but by invoice instead then an invoice fee of £12 excl. VAT (i.e. £14.40 incl. VAT) is payable on completion of the visit. 

A summary report will be provided following completion of each visit.
