Design and Access Statements
It is a statutory requirement to submit a Design and Access Statement with most applications for planning permission and listed building consent. If this is not submitted then the Council will not be able to register the application.
A Design and Access Statement is required for all applications for listed building consent except where the application is for internal works only. In this case only a Design Statement needs to be submitted.
From 25 June 2013 applications for planning permission will not require a Statement if they fall into one of the categories detailed in the Guidance.
