Frizzles has opened its doors in the Chantry Centre. The colourful café offers an inviting space where Andover residents can come together and enjoy a menu of savoury dishes and sweet treats.

Visitors can look forward to trying a choice of breakfast options and savoury snacks, such as Caribbean-style cod fishcakes. There are plenty of desserts on offer including warm fluffy crepes, crispy waffles, frozen yoghurts and churros with a selection of dipping sauces. For those looking to pop in for a drink, a selection of milkshakes, cold and hot drinks are available.

Frizzles is the vision of Karren Ceaser who been working closely with Test Valley Borough Council to offer the community an inviting space, in the heart of the town, where friends and families can meet in a relaxing environment.

The café will be open six days a week from Monday to Saturday and is located in a prime location in Andover’s indoor shopping centre, next to Tui and opposite Holland & Barrett.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Phil North said: “It’s fantastic to see another new business opening in the Chantry Centre and I’m pleased that we can offer this prime unit to a local independent business. I wish them all the very best of making this new shop a success.”

Karren Ceaser said: “Our vision for Frizzles is to create more than just a café. It's a space where delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere blend to form something truly special.

“As a military family that has moved around a bit, the memories of places with wonderful food have always stayed with us. We wanted to bring that same sense of comfort and joy to others, creating a spot where people can build lasting memories.”

Cllr Iris Andersen, local councillor for St Mary’s Ward, said: “Karren has put a lot of effort into making this a warm and cosy space and I’m sure lots of people will be looking forward to coming here to try something new.”
