Andover beauty business awarded a council grant

Women's Beauty Club, a beauty business that opened in Andover last year has been awarded a business incentive grant of £750 from Test Valley Borough Council.

The owner Oksana Shmygelska has previous experience working in the beauty industry in Ukraine, her new business offers semi-permanent make-up, nail, and eyelash appointments. The grant enabled the business to branch out and invest in its semi-permanent makeup line.

Oksana said, "I’m very happy to have received a business incentive grant from the council. I’m excited to use this opportunity to innovate and elevate the product offering, so I can continue to provide top-quality services.”

Councillor Debbie Cattell, representing St Mary ward in Andover, said, "We are delighted to support Women's Beauty Club through our Business Incentive Grant. Small businesses like this help boost our local economy and we wish Oksana every success in her new venture."

Test Valley Borough Council is committed to supporting local businesses through various initiatives and grants. The Business Incentive Grant is designed to help new businesses located in Test Valley achieve their goals and contribute to the local economy. You must apply for the grant before you start your business, and the authority will award the money once you have been up and running for six months.
