Eco Assessment Solutions scoops a council grant of £750
Test Valley Borough Council has awarded a £750 Business Incentive Grant to Eco Assessment Solutions, a new venture by Braishfield resident Paul Boshier. The grant supported Paul to establish his company last year, which offers domestic energy performance certificates and retrofit assessment services. These help homeowners to understand their energy consumption and identify how they can improve energy efficiency.
Paul has spent his career in the construction industry, holding various roles. He identified the growing demand for energy and retrofit assessors and with his background in construction decided to set up a company to provide this service. He has undertaken specialist training for his new business.
Ampfield and Braishfield ward Councillor Sally Yalden said, "We are delighted to support this new venture with a Business Incentive Grant. We look forward to seeing Paul’s business thrive and contribute to the local economy."
Paul Boshier, owner of Eco Assessment Solutions, said: "I really grateful for this grant to help get my new business off the ground. My goal is to grow the business over the next few years and eventually pass it on to my son."
Business Incentive Grants are for new businesses located in Test Valley and you must apply before you start your business. The council will pay the grant once you have been up and running for a minimum of six months.
