New land and Development firm in Romsey awarded a council grant
We have recently awarded South Coast Land Solutions Ltd, a newly established Land and Development firm in Romsey, a Business Incentive Grant of £750.
Julian Jones, the owner of South Coast Land Solutions Ltd, brings over 40 years of experience in the housebuilding industry. Having worked with Barratt Homes for nearly 30 years, he is now venturing into self-employment.
Julian said, "After 40 plus years working for national PLCs, I am a newbie to the self-employed ranks. TVBC have been instrumental in opening doors to opportunities and support networks which are so necessary when first starting out on your own. The business grant is another example of them being there to assist you when you most need it at the start of your journey, for which I'm most grateful."
Councillor Nik Daas of Romsey Abbey ward said, "Romsey is founded on local independent businesses and Julian’s firm is certainly one of these. We are delighted to support South Coast Land Solutions Ltd through our Business Incentive Grant award scheme and welcome other businesses to also apply in the future.”
Business Incentive Grants are for new businesses located in Test Valley and you must apply before you start your business. The council will pay the grant once you have been up and running for a minimum of six months.
