Test Valley Borough Council: Landlord Support Initiative
We have a scheme to support and enable landlords to work with us to provide good quality homes to those who need them.
In return for letting your home to someone in need, the council can offer landlords a free range of services including:
- tenant matching services with affordability checks
- free inventory
- 1 years free membership to National Landlord Association
- tenancy sustainment support.
Our unique model of offering support to both landlords and to tenants aims to create sustainable long-lasting tenancies that work for landlords whilst providing a stable and happy home for a family.
We do not offer a tenancy management or leasing service, as the landlord you will retain responsibility for repairs, health and safety requirements and rent collection. We will work to ensure that there are clear lines of communication between you and your tenant.
