Responsibility for Roads

Motorways and trunk roads (M27, A303, A34 and A36) are the responsibility of Highways England based in Dorking (information on major road works)  All enquiries 0300 555 1388. Most other roads in Test Valley fall to Hampshire County Council as the Highway Authority. To report any issues or queries including reviewing and making of permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders please visit https://www.hants.gov.uk/transport/

For routine road sweeping, some grass cutting and action on fly-tipping, please use https://www.testvalley.gov.uk/mytestvalley.

Private roads are generally maintained by the residents who live there or management companies on behalf of the residents.
