Abandoned Trolleys

In February 2011, the Council agreed to apply Schedule 4 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 as amended by the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 and on Monday 20 June 2011, the Council started collecting and charging for abandoned trolleys.  The charge is set at £75 per trolley.

Residents can report any abandoned trolleys to the Council by using the online form: My Test Valley Trolleys can also be reported to Customer Services on 01264 368000 or 01794 527700.

Residents that use trolleys are reminded:

• to leave any used trolleys in a sensible location such as a trolley bay in a supermarket or town centre car park, ready for collection by the owner.
• not to use a shopping trolley to transport any shopping home.
