Step into summer: Picnics in the park

Description

25 July – 25 August 12pm – 2pm

Following the Step into summer launch event, a series of weekly picnics will take place in Riverside Park every Monday – Thursday, helping to support Four Fun Fridays. Families will be encouraged to bring their own picnics and enjoy garden games, and free ad-hoc activities each week.

Week 1:

Mon, Tues, Thurs: Garden Games

Weds 27 July: Family Yoga, 12:30pm – 1pm & 1:15pm – 1:45pm

Week 2:

Mon, Tues, Thurs: Garden Games

Weds 3 August: Family Yoga, 12:30pm – 1pm & 1:15pm – 1:45pm

Week 3:

Mon, Tues, Thurs: Garden Games

Weds 10 August: Nature themed crafts (making leaf mobiles)

Week 4:

Weds 17 August: Pop-up book craft workshops

Weds 24 August: Storytelling with Amanda from Merry-Go-Round Storytelling
