Test Valley Employment and Skills Zone
The Test Valley Employment and Skills Zone is a partnership of organisations, including housing associations, Jobcentre Plus, Andover College and voluntary organisations which can work together to support unemployed residents with training, work placements and employment. Many councils have skills zones and their creation reflects in part a way of addressing the implications of welfare changes on residents in affordable housing. Skills Zones are about working in partnership for the benefit of those trying to get back into the labour market. Test Valley Skills Zone is being coordinated by the Council.
