Public Art Commission - Picket 20 Extension
Public engagement
All our public art projects involve community consultation and participation.
Three public interactive art workshops have been set up in the Picket 20 Community Centre on Thursday 30 at 1:30pm and Friday 31 May at midday and 2pm.
Through art, the workshops will honour and celebrate the important archaeological history of the Picket Twenty Extension, relating the presence of buried prehistoric remains. Participants will also look at journeys, pathways, and connections for this heritage focused project, acknowledging the important history of Andover.
Suitable for children aged between 7 - 11 and their parent or guardian. All equipment and refreshments are provided.
The workshops are free and you can sign up on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/sum-place-84405470173
The artists will also be working with the pupils at local primary schools and Winton Academy for ideas and inspirations.
