Educational Visit to your Local Nature Reserve

The variety of habitats across Test Valley make it an ideal place for learning about the natural world. Across its number of Local Nature Reserves, pupils can learn about a range of different habitats including freshwater lakes and rivers, woodland and grassland. A visit to your nearest Local Nature Reserve can meet the needs across the curriculum and can be designed to be stimulating and enjoyable for all those involved.

Schools and groups are welcome to use the site at any time.

Teacher's Packs are available for each site can be downloaded from this page. There are also additional activity sheets available to download on habitats, landscapes and Plant and animal lifecycles.
