Health Walks - Step this way for a Healthier Future

Walking is a great way to keep active and healthy and is fast becoming a social event that can help you to meet people.

Health Walks enable you to see the beautiful countryside, landscapes, towns and villages in Test Valley whilst taking in fresh air and exercise at the same time!

Health Walks are aimed at all fitness levels but particularly those people who do little physical activity or those who are recovering from ill health. Slower walks are offered at some of the locations as an incentive for those not ready to walk at the speed of the main group. Similarly, some groups offer brisk walks for those able to maintain a brisk pace.

They are run by a  team of trained Volunteer Walk Leaders who motivate and encourage all walkers to keep walking and they recognise that everyone has different levels of fitness, needs and abilities.

All walks are approximately 2.5 miles and take around one hour.  Please ensure you wear sensible shoes, bring sun protection and a drink.

To walk in a small group or on a one-to-one basis, contact Jude Price contact@walkntalk4mentalhealth.org or 07854078504

Walks rely on the support that we receive from our local Volunteer Walk Leaders and we are always looking for more volunteers to join our team to continue this highly successful Scheme.

If you are interested in joining us on a Health Walk please complete the registration form  or if you are interested in becoming a Walk Leader please contact us.
