We have a great opportunity for an experienced planning lawyer to join our brilliant team in Test Valley. This is an exciting and important role, reporting directly to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, and you will be a key player in providing an effective and efficient legal service to the council.
You will be the council’s lead and subject matter expert on all planning law matters as part of a friendly and dedicated legal team. The Test Valley area provides a diverse mix of rural and urban planning matters, offering an interesting and varied workload. And you will be joining the council at an exciting time as we have big ambitions, with priorities including transforming our main town centres of Romsey and Andover.
This is a role where every day promises to be different. You will also benefit from the council’s significant leadership learning and development offer as part of the authority’s Senior Managers’ Forum.
You will be a confident planning law practitioner with significant experience. The opportunity also exists to be involved in other areas of work and for you to develop and make this post your own.
