Kickstart your career at Test Valley Borough Council!
Test Valley Borough Council has a range of fantastic new roles up for grabs as part of the government’s Kickstart Scheme.
The initiative aims to help young people who are at risk of long term unemployment due to the coronavirus pandemic and is available to 16 to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit.
The posts are 25 hours per week for six months and include business support assistant, admin assistant, HR admin assistant and housing assistant. Anyone interested should speak to their Job Centre work coach who will then refer them to the council.
TVBC’s chief executive, Andy Ferrier, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for those currently looking for work.
“It’s a great council and we’re a really friendly bunch, so I’d encourage you to apply if you’re interested. This could be an exciting stepping stone to a brilliant new career.”
The council is urging people to get in touch as soon as possible as there is a limited number of posts available.
Nestled in stunning west Hampshire, TVBC provides a huge variety of services to its residents, from helping to keep the borough looking spick and span, supporting those experiencing homelessness, helping local communities and managing the area’s picture-perfect parks and green spaces.
