New marketing company based in Andover receives a council grant
The Local Marketing Company, a new business based in Andover, has been awarded a business incentive grant of £750 by Test Valley Borough Council.
Owner Dmitrijs Meiksans is already attracting new business mainly from referrals and word of mouth. His selling point is very much his understanding of how a client business fits into and serves its local community. He also has some clients in Salisbury and is hoping to expand into Winchester.
Dmitrijs said, "I am so pleased to receive a grant to help set up The Local Marketing Company Ltd, supporting businesses within the Test Valley and beyond with their website design, social media management, graphic design and so much more. I am grateful that we have a supportive local council that is growing the local economy through empowering local businesses to start up."
Andover and St Mary’s ward Councillor Jan Budzynski said: “It is great to be able to help Dmitrijs’s business get going and see it start to grow and succeed. The business incentive grants are a great opportunity for those wishing to set up a new business venture in Test Valley.”
Business Incentive Grants are for new businesses located in Test Valley and must be applied for before you start your business. They are paid once you have been up and running for 6 months.
