New dog day care and boarding awarded a council business incentive grant
Shepherds Lodge dog day care and home boarding, has received a business incentive grant of £750.
Julia Palmer set up her dog day care and boarding business from home; currently around 50% of her customers are boarding and 50% day care. Her business has grown through word of mouth and now has regular repeat customers.
Julia said, “I am so pleased to receive a council grant to support my new business and I hope to use the grant towards converting an outbuilding to an area for the dogs, so they have a place to dry off when wet.”
Charlton and the Pentons ward, councillor Linda Lashbrook, said: “The business incentive grants are a great opportunity and give new small businesses in Test Valley a financial boost to help get up and running. I wish Julia every success.”
Business Incentive Grants are for new businesses located in Test Valley and must be applied for before you start your business.
