From market stall to town centre store: Ziver Organiques opens in Andover
An independent skincare and lifestyle brand built around sustainability, cosmetic innovation and craftsmanship has opened its first permanent store in Andover town centre.
Ziver Organiques celebrated the opening of its new shop in the Chantry Centre on Thursday 1 October, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by councillors Iris Andersen and Jan Budzynski.
Founded by cosmetic formulator Tuna Yoney, Ziver Organiques creates small-batch skincare, home fragrance and wellness products using a blend of advanced actives and repurposed ingredients.
Born and raised in Cyprus, Tuna spent more than 20 years working in the finance sector before retraining in cosmetic science and skincare formulation. He launched Ziver Organiques with the aim of creating effective products inspired by modern research and innovative ingredients. These include upcycled materials such as algae bio water - produced during the seaweed drying process - which is used in place of distilled water, helping to reduce water consumption.
Many local shoppers will already recognise the business from markets across Hampshire, including Andover's Second Sundays market. Opening a permanent store in the town marks a major milestone for the growing independent brand, creating a dedicated space where customers can discover its products, learn more about the formulation process and take part in workshops and experiences.
Tuna Yoney, founder of Ziver Organiques, said: "Opening our first shop in Andover means a great deal to me. Ziver Organiques began with me making products at home, and meeting customers at markets helped turn that idea into a business. I’m a cosmetic formulator, and I love showing people how ingredients that might otherwise be overlooked can work alongside modern skincare science. I want the shop to be a welcoming place to discover our products, enjoy a coffee and get creative at a workshop."
Councillor Iris Andersen, ward member for Andover St Mary's, said: "It's wonderful to see Tuna's hard work and dedication rewarded with the opening of his first permanent store. Ziver Organiques has already built a strong following locally, and I'm delighted to welcome the business to the Chantry Centre.
"Independent businesses like this add character to our town centre and offer something unique for residents and visitors to enjoy."
Councillor Jan Budzynski, ward member for Andover St Mary's, said: "This is exactly the kind of business success story we love to see. Markets provide an important platform for independent businesses to test new ideas, meet customers and grow their profile, and Ziver Organiques is a fantastic example of that journey.
"Seeing a trader take the next step and invest in a permanent town centre presence demonstrates the positive impact that markets can have and strengthens Andover's independent retail offer.”
The new store offers customers the opportunity to explore the full Ziver Organiques range, including skincare, home fragrance and gifts, and will also host a programme of workshops and experiences.
