Annual Parking Report

Test Valley Borough Council produce an Annual Report in accordance with the guidance to Local Authorities contained within Chapter 4 to the Department for Transport’s, ‘Civil Enforcement Operational Guidance to Local Authorities’ published in March 2008. You can find the reports below.

The annual surplus on the Council’s parking account is spent on improving or maintaining the appearance and amenity of open land and water to which the general public has access, such as playgrounds, urban parks and open spaces, outdoor sports facilities and nature reserves. Full details of the spending in these functional areas can be found in the Council’s budget book .

The council is a member of the Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London (PATROL) Adjudication Joint Committee. The Joint Committee publishes an Annual Statement of Accounts which is subject to External Audit.

Parking spaces

Local authorities are required to publish an annual, estimated update on the number of marked-out controlled on- and off-street parking spaces within the borough. Please refer to the most recent version of the Annual Parking Report for details (link attached to this page)
