  • When are my collection dates?

    You can find your collection dates by clicking here. 

    This will give you a list of collection dates for your household waste, recycling and garden waste wheeled bins. Please note: dates may be subject to change.

    For new subscribers: Depending on your collection day, please allow up to 14 days for your garden waste collections to start.

  • How do I pay for my garden waste subscription?

    To subscribe online to the Garden Waste Collection Service, you have two options

    Join and Pay via Debit Card

    Join and Pay via an Annual Direct Debit

    Please note: If you don't already have a My Test Valley account you will need to sign up to one in order to manage your garden waste subscription.

  • How do I renew my garden waste subscription?

    When it is time for you to renew your subscription, we will contact you with details on how to renew via your chosen contact method. The renewal notification will be sent with plenty of time, please be aware that if you leave your renewal too late, you risk missing a collection.

    If you have received a letter from us and you wish to register an email address with us, please complete your details here.

    Please note: we use My Test Valley to renew your garden waste subscription(s). When it is your time to renew you will need to follow the web link. If you don’t already have a My Test Valley password, you will be asked to sign up and set one up. Once this has been completed, or if you already have a password, you will be able to follow the link to the renewal process. My Test Valley will have all your information ready – you will just need to check your details such as the collection address and the number of subscriptions and then you will be asked to make a payment with your debit card. You will be emailed a receipt for your payment as well as a confirmation email from My Test Valley summarising your subscription(s) for the next year.

  • I’m changing my address - what do I do?

    You can take your subscription and bins/sacks with you when you move within the Test Valley Borough Council area.

    If you are moving out of the Test Valley Borough Council area, please note that the service is not transferable or refundable.

  • How do I make a change to my subscription?

    If you wish to cancel your subscription immediately, please click here - please note the service is non-refundable.

  • How do I order a garden waste wheeled bin or reusable sack?

    New subscribers can order these as part of the subscription process. If you already subscribe and would like to buy a garden waste bin or sack, please click here

  • When will my bins/sacks be delivered?

    Garden waste bins/sacks will be delivered within 10 working days of purchase.

  • My garden waste has not been collected - what do I do?

    To report a missed collection, please click here
