Delivering our priorities through a community focus
We have invested significantly over the last decade to work in an ever more place-based way, reflecting that one size does not fit all, and that we must continue to develop a deep understanding of what matters most to local communities in order to be able to fully support them.
This plan renews our long-standing commitment to empower local communities through the way the we work. The plan sets out how the council will deliver our priorities through a community focus so that they can be tailored to make sure they are relevant and appropriate to local circumstances. The framework used to describe this in the corporate plan is through the lens of a number of communities across the borough. These are explored in the next sections.
