The aim of the health and safety regulatory service is to protect and improve the health, safety, and welfare of those affected by work activities (whether as employees, volunteers, or the public) in the borough, by ensuring risks are managed properly. Health and safety regulation is split between the Health and Safety Executive and the Council depending on the workplace.
